Four AI products shipped; a six-designer team led across the US and India. The work usually starts before anyone asks for it: pitch the agentic bet, win the funding, then negotiate the boundary with the people who have to live with it. I started out as a journalist, which is why I care more about asking the right question than jumping to a solution. Based in Seattle; I mentor designers on ADPList.

GDSP — From Reactive to Proactive
Deal review went from 24 hours to seconds — and finance managers stopped chasing deals and started advising on them. No one asked for an agentic system: I pitched it, won the funding across AWS Finance, then negotiated the autonomy boundary with the finance leads who would live with it — which 3 of 5,000 deals are worth interrupting a manager's morning. AI First Design System (Phantom)
80+ teams adopted it without a mandate — because they helped build it. Mandates produce compliance; participation produces investment: I built a contribution model that let 8 partner teams feed the library and ran 5 co-creation workshops across design, product and engineering. 80+ teams · 100% preferred over legacy (n=18) · 170 dev hrs saved per team per year · first AA-accessible component in the org.
HVE — High Velocity Events (Amazon Stores 3P)
Eleven externally-imposed pivots in five months — and the design system held. The same trust system I built at AWS Fintech, recalibrated for a different user: sellers in a compressed event window tolerate more action and less surfacing — the inverse of the analyst's boundary. I surfaced 8 infeasibilities before they reached build and compressed 93 review comments into 22 actionable changes. 11 pivots survived · 8 infeasibilities caught pre-build · 3 patterns live in the seller flow.
CLSG — Closed Loop Selection Guidance (Amazon Stores 3P)
A funnel where every screen answered to a number. The goal was 150,000 new ASIN launches across US and EU5, with sellers dropping off at every step — I designed each stage of the selection-guidance funnel against the one metric it had to move, from surfacing the right opportunity to a live, sellable listing. 4 stages, 4 design targets: 25%+ view-to-save · first save in under 90 seconds · 60% save-to-launch · 60% draft-to-listed.
Uno (AWS Fintech)
Seven fragmented finance systems became one platform — and the first AWS product ever to win an international UX award. I led design from an ambiguous 0-to-1 bet to the interaction model the org standardized on, collapsing 7 source systems into a single semantic layer analysts could actually defend numbers from. 7 systems unified · IDZ Berlin 2025 — first AWS win · Wall Street Journal feature · 30,000+ users · $2.75B+ managed (est.)
T-Vault (T-Mobile w/ Piktorlabs)
Secrets under management rose ~50% within two months of the redesign. I rebuilt T-Mobile's secrets-management flow around what engineers actually did under pressure, shipping it with a lean team of two designers and four engineers.
Backbone PLM
Full Live Link adoption in two weeks — and 80% of those teams were still using it a month later. I designed the Line Sheet Library for a $15M Series A startup: small enough that adoption was the only metric that mattered, and retention was the only proof it worked.
Jazz Template Library (T-Mobile w/ Piktorlabs)
A serverless template library built to halve deployment failures across engineering teams in four time zones. I designed the templates and the adoption path together — the library only pays off if engineers who never meet each other reach for the same one. Targets: 50% fewer deployment failures · 30% adoption lift.
